Team and Role Introduction
The candidate is the primary responsible person for the full set accounting for Marketplace (MP) Finance, and oversee transactional works supported by finance BPO, managing MY & SG entities. This role reports to the MP Manager based in Malaysia.
Responsibilities
Reporting to Marketplace (MP) Finance & Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for :
- Liaising and active interaction with business team and other finance team member on daily task, including but not limited to sellers payment related queries, sellers statement related queries, etc.
- Perform payment clearing for payout to sellers and balance sheet reconciliation for MP related GL.
- Perform checking and upload manual adjustment in system, and able to reconcile after adjustment done.
- Assist on fees setting in system, review and make sure correct setting configured.
- Participate in internal/external auditing by providing supporting documents as requested, improvement initiatives, standardization process and new system implementations.
- Manage seller payments and related queries, seller reconciliation to be done before final payments.
- Require to handle marketplace finance related tasks for multiples entities registered in MY.
- Maintaining and ensuring policies and procedures are adhered to company guidelines.
Requirements/Qualifications(must have)
In order to succeed in the role, you should ideally have:
- Bacherlor's Degree in Accounting/Finance
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant working experience
- Able to work in fast-paced and high transactions volume environment
- Able to multi-task and work under high pressure
- Strong communication skills and ability to handle key stakeholders
- Good problem-solving skills, with proven ability to apply finance knowledge and experience to a diverse range of financial issues specifically in marketplace area
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
