Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Responsible for preparation of full sets of accounts, including general account, account payable, account receivable and anything related to closing the accounts in a timely manner.
Responsible for day-to-day finance and accounts administration task.
  • Responsible in performing day to day financial transactions, including checking, verifying, classifying and updating all account receivables and account payables data.
Update bank statement daily to ensure no discrepancy in banking.
  • Collect payment from debtors that are already due and make sure payment slips received are verified and update the debtors account accordingly.
Process monthly bank reconciliation.
  • Reconciliation revenue accounts each month.
Preparation of schedule (depreciation, debtors ageing, creditors ageing, management report etc. for weekly and monthly.
  • Ensure accounting records follow company policy and statutory requirement.
Manage all accounting documentation and perform filing duties for efficient safekeeping.
  • Effectively and efficiently liaise with auditor, company sec, tax agent and bank officer and all other relevant parties for anything relating to accounting matters.
Controlling company cashflow and reporting in timely manner.
  • Monitor, plan and manage company cash flow and make sure that cash is sufficient and able to cover company commitment and expenses.
Liaise with financial institution or remittance agent to procure foreign currency, hedge against foreign currency when its favorable.
  • Prepare financial & management reports for directors.
Assist in payroll.
  • Perform any ad-hoc duties assigned by the company.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related fields with professional qualifications.
Minimum 3- 4 years experience in accounting / finance field
  • Familiar with accounting standards, tax laws, and filling procedure.
Excellent math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors.
  • Have audit working experience is an added advantage.
Proficient in SQL accounting software and Microsoft offices
  • Proactive, meticulous, has a good sense of responsibility, and attention to details.
Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information and have high integrity.
  • Required language: English, Bahasa Malaysia [mandarin spoken candidate will have an added advantage]

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,
  • 00 - RM4,800.00 per month
