This position provides leadership for the APAC PPE Segment Marketing function and is a member of the EMEA Leadership Team and EMEA/APAC Customer Marketing Leadership Team (reports to the Customer Marketing Director EMEA and APAC.
The position will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive regional marketing strategies to drive profitable growth and enhance the brand presence on PPE market. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of B2B marketing, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration to achieve business objectives.
This role will be responsible for leading marketing efforts in the following PPE segments: Industry, Fire Service and Milipol and Fall Protection Systems &Solutions. This role will collaborate with Sales/Channels, Customer Service, Services & Solutions, Operations and Logistics to ensure alignment of activities.
Responsibilities
- Lead the APAC PPE Marketing organization (ROA/ANZ and China teams) to implement MSA's corporate strategy to advance the core and attain leadership in high potential markets. This will be accomplished with an emphasis on both organic and inorganic growth initiatives as required.
- Achieve APAC revenue and gross margin targets and market share growth goals for MSA's core.
- Develop, articulate, and execute GoTo Market strategies for EMEA Regions in alignment with the corporate strategy, and aligned to MSA Global Product guidelines and processes.
- Lead the Marketing activities targeted at key customer segments, focusing on growth strategies and initiatives, demand generation programs, share gain programs, regional product portfolio management, product positioning strategies, input into NPD process, beginning with leading VOC efforts in the region, timely and effective product launches, and Pricing Positioning
- Lead the regional Marketing team, driving them to the most cooperative and collaborative, to increase effectiveness on the business (set and monitor KPIs) and enable career development (provide coaching)
- Drive the execution of comprehensive Demand Creation and Revenue Generation Programs for profitable growth of core products in alignment with the Sales teams.
- Build brand recognition in our target markets through expanding our capabilities to exploit GTM, digital media and digital channels.
- Develop and drive regional execution plan, control cost (manage annual budget), and improve Gross Margin (price realization and gross margin expansion initiatives)
- Accelerate Time to Market for New Product Launches and speed up NPD commercialization.
- Upskill Sales and Channels on MSA value proposition for our most profitable core products.
- Develop and manage channel partner marketing activities in collaboration with distribution managers/sales manager and pricing manager and improve communication of marketing related information for distributors and implement proper communication tools (i.e., distributor newsletters, distribution portals and e-commerce activities).
- Provide the real-time pulse on market conditions, competitive activities, industry and technology trends, market size and share to the regional top management.
Qualifications/Experience
- Min 5 to 10 years in B2B marketing
- Min 3 Leadership in Marketing organizations, preferably in multicultural environment
- Solid background in leading Marketing functions (product management, pricing, demand creation, branding)
- Ability to work well across different countries and different functions.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, lead generation, marketing automation, marketing operations, CRM especially Salesforce.com and content marketing.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal (inc. influencing), and presentation skills (storytelling)
