Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Security & Authorization Consultant with expertise in the AUTH module to support a key workstream within a leading pharmaceutical company. The role will focus on ensuring secure access, role management, and user authorization across the organizations SAP landscape. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP security, particularly within highly regulated industries like pharmaceuticals.
- Lead the design, implementation, and management of security roles and authorizations within the SAP AUTH module.
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and control measures to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal security standards.
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and improve system security.
- Work closely with business and IT teams to understand security requirements and ensure proper access control mechanisms are in place.
- Troubleshoot authorization issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement necessary changes.
- Ensure segregation of duties (SoD) compliance and resolve SoD conflicts in user roles.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to address audit findings related to security and authorization.
- Provide training and support to end-users on security policies, best practices, and authorization workflows.
- Prepare and maintain documentation related to authorization roles, user access, and compliance activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP Security and Authorization, with a focus on the AUTH module.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or highly regulated industries is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of SAP authorization concepts, including role design, user access, and SoD compliance.
- Proven ability to manage security audits and ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., GxP, SOX).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve authorization issues.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Proficiency in English is required.
- Familiarity with other SAP security modules and GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) is an advantage.
