Job Description- Industry/ Organization Type: Education
Position Title: Secondary Teacher (Grade 7/ Grade 8)
- Working Location: Raffles Place (near MRT)
Working Hours: 5 days, Mon Fri (8 am 5 pm)
- Salary Package: Basic Salary + Performance Bonus
Duration: Permanent
Planning and teaching of lessons according to the schools curriculum.- Manage classroom and oversee students to ensure a conducive learning atmosphere.
Mentor and provide support to the Teaching Assistant.
- Develop individualized teaching methods for special needs students & IEP writing.
Create educational content (notes, summaries, assignments, etc.) according to the school's latest protocol.- Fulfill administrative responsibilities (Report writing, attendance record, test marking, etc.).
Carry out special duties (e.g., outdoor recreation area monitor, extra-curricular activities, holiday camps, school fairs, open houses).
- Attend parent-teacher meetings and maintain good relationships with all stakeholders of the classroom/ school.
Maintain, adhere to, and be up to date with Edutrust processes and systems.- Develop and enrich professional skills and knowledge by attending professional training at the school.
Minimum Diploma in Education, Counselling, Psychology or equivalent.- Understanding of special education is highly preferred.
