What You'll Do
Bst Hr
The SEA People Team is seeking an experienced BST HR & HR Operations Director/ Senior Manager to drive the People agenda for SEA employees across 6 SEA offices. This role ensures that all HR policies and processes are meticulously aligned with both regulatory compliance and BCG guidelines, and for operations to adhere to the highest ethical and in alignment with the overall business strategy. The role is charged with overseeing the employee lifecycle of BST HR. This includes strategic HR planning and the execution of HR initiatives that align with our business objectives, focusing on talent and performance management and strengthening employee value propositions for BST in SEA. Focus on employee relations to foster a harmonious workplace environment and effective implementation of consequence management framework. This position reports directly to the SEA Human Resources Senior Director and requires extensive collaboration with SEA People Chair, Functional Senior Directors, AP HR for effective implementation to meet the diverse needs and strategic goals of BCG. The role includes, but not limited to the following:
- Develop and implement HR strategies that effectively address the needs of the BST population, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
- Provide strategic direction and oversight to the talent acquisition processes, ensuring they are robust and aligned with the strategic workforce planning to attract and retain top talent.
- Strategic guidance and support for performance management processes ensuring they are fair, consistent, and aligned with BCG objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement to performance management process to enhance effectiveness and adapt to evolving organizational needs.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages high performance and employee satisfaction through innovative engagement and recognition programs.
- Drive and manage change initiatives within BST in collaboration with SEA People Chair, Functional Senior Directors, ensuring smooth implementation and minimal disruption to business operations.
- Responsible for budgeting BST of HR function, ensuring financial resources are optimally allocated and managed to support HR initiatives and business needs.
- Oversee pyramid planning to ensure BST is well-equipped to support the SEA's continuous growth. Includes succession for BST, involving strategically identifying and preparing high-potential employees for future BST leadership roles to drive continuity and career progression within BCG.
- Manage the compensation and benefit strategy and implementation for BST, ensuring it is competitive and aligns with local market trends, to attract and retain top talent while boosting employee satisfaction and motivation.
HR Operations
- Oversee the development, implementation, and continuous refinement of HR policies and procedures across all SEA offices, ensuring policies are compliant with local regulations and BCG global guidelines.
- Monitor changes in employment laws and regulations across SEA and ensure all HR practices are updated accordingly to maintain compliance.
- Implement governance structures that uphold internal policies and country legal standards.
- Enhance HR operational processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness. This includes optimizing systems and hubs for employee onboarding, employee data management and exit processes, amongst others.
- Work closely with other HR functions in People Team, Finance, Operations to ensure HR operations integrate smoothly a cohesive approach to HR service delivery.
- Oversee the lifecycle of the contingent workforce, from approval to offboarding, ensuring each stage adheres to BCG policies and local regulations. This includes managing approvals, onboarding, data management, and seamless offboarding processes. Additionally, supervise external vendors to ensure that their services meet BCG's quality standards and compliance requirements.
Employee Relations
- Provide strategic oversight and leadership for the Employee Relations (ER), with focus on guiding the overall approach on investigations and ensuring that practices align with BCG code of conduct and values.
- Develop and implement proactive strategies to enhance workplace relations and culture, which includes training programs and establishing effective communication channels to enhance workplace relations and foster a positive organizational culture.
- Provide consequence management oversight and ensure the frameworks are applied consistently and fairly across BCG and are in compliance with internal policies and external legal requirements.
What You'll Bring
- You possess a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, or a related field.
- Professional Experience: You have at least 15 years of HR experience, with a proven track record in a senior HR role, preferably in a multinational and/or matrix-structured environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in strategic HR planning, talent management, employee relations and comprehensive knowledge of employment law and performance management.
- Experience in handling HR operations across multiple countries, with a keen understanding of various cultural nuances and legal requirements in international HR practices.
- Familiarity with modern HR Information Systems and HR technologies that drive efficiency and data-driven decision making.
