Role Overview:
Roche is seeking a SAP SD Functional Consultant to join our team for a pivotal role in our SAP S/4HANA implementation project. This position involves configuring and implementing the SAP SD module, working closely with stakeholders to ensure that the system meets business needs for Sales and Distribution, and supporting a seamless transition to the new platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and configure SAP SD functionalities to meet the specific needs of Sales and Distribution processes.
- Lead the configuration of sales order management, pricing, billing, and delivery functions within the SAP SD module, ensuring alignment with business objectives and SAP best practices.
- Resolve SAP SD-related functional issues, providing expert support and guidance to ensure smooth system operations and process efficiency.
- Document all configurations, customizations, and changes to the SAP SD module, maintaining clear and comprehensive project records.
- Conduct training sessions for end-users, facilitating effective adoption of the new system functionalities in the SD module.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP, with a strong focus on the SD module.
- Demonstrated expertise in SAP SD configuration and a solid understanding of Sales and Distribution best practices, including pricing, order management, and billing.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic approach to solution design.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Prior experience with SAP S/4HANA is advantageous but not required.
