Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SAP S4 HANA Database Administrator (DBA) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with SAP S4 HANA database administration. As an SAP S4 HANA DBA, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, performance tuning, and security of our SAP S4 HANA database environment. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other IT teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and upgrade SAP S4 HANA database software and related components.
Monitor and maintain the health, performance, and security of the SAP S4 HANA database environment.
Implement backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.
Perform database tuning and optimization to enhance system performance and efficiency.
Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support ongoing projects and initiatives.
Develop and maintain documentation, including standard operating procedures and technical specifications.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in SAP S4 HANA database administration.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an SAP S4 HANA Database Administrator.
Proficiency in installing, configuring, and maintaining SAP S4 HANA database software.
Strong understanding of database architecture, performance tuning, and troubleshooting techniques.
Experience with SAP S4 HANA migration, upgrade, and patching activities.
Knowledge of SAP Basis administration and SAP application architecture.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
SAP S4 HANA certification is a plus.
