Job Title: SAP MM Consultant

Summary:
We are seeking an experienced SAP MM Consultant to join our team and support the implementation, customization, and optimization of SAP MM modules for our clients. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP Materials Management and a deep understanding of business processes related to procurement, inventory, and logistics. You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and alignment of SAP MM solutions with business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementation and Configuration:
- Lead or support the full lifecycle implementation of SAP MM, including requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, and go-live
- Customize the SAP MM module to align with the specific needs of clients, including settings for procurement, inventory management, logistics, and vendor management
- Integrate SAP MM with other SAP modules, such as SD, WM, and FI, to ensure a seamless flow of information
- Process Analysis and Optimization:
- Conduct thorough business process analysis to identify areas for improvement in materials management
- Recommend and implement best practices and innovative solutions to optimize procurement, inventory, and materials management processes
- Assist in developing streamlined workflows, user training, and documentation for efficient use of the SAP MM system
- Support and Maintenance:
- Provide post-implementation support, troubleshoot issues, and perform regular system updates to ensure continued efficiency and reliability of the SAP MM module
- Work with business users to address any system challenges and ensure SAP MM aligns with evolving business needs
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with project managers, technical teams, and business stakeholders to meet project objectives and timelines
- Train end-users on new processes and functionality, creating and maintaining training documentation as needed
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights on industry trends and best practices
- Data Management and Reporting:
- Manage and oversee material master data, ensuring accuracy and consistency across the system
- Develop and implement reporting tools for effective tracking of procurement and inventory KPIs
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or related field
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in SAP MM module implementation and support
- SAP Certifications: SAP MM certification preferred
- Knowledge of SAP Integration: Familiarity with related SAP modules (e.g., SD, WM, PP, FI) for cross-functional integration
- Project Management Skills: Ability to lead MM projects and initiatives independently or as part of a larger team
- Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels
- Analytical Skills: High attention to detail, with excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with S/4HANA migration and implementation
- Knowledge of SAP Ariba, SAP Fiori, or other SAP tools related to procurement and materials management
- Experience in data migration tools and processes (e.g., LSMW)
