Job Description
Summary
We are looking for a SAP HANA DBA with 5 years of experience to join our team and manage our SAP HANA database systems. You will be responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, security, and integrity of our SAP HANA databases. You will also work closely with our SAP developers and consultants to provide technical support, troubleshooting, and optimization.
Responsibilities
• Install, configure, upgrade, and patch SAP HANA databases
• Monitor and tune database performance, availability, and backup/recovery
• Implement and enforce database security policies and procedures
• Perform database backup, restore, and recovery operations
• Resolve database issues and incidents in a timely manner
• Document and maintain database standards, best practices, and procedures
• Collaborate with SAP developers and consultants to support SAP projects and applications
• Provide on-call support for database emergencies and escalations
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• 5 years of experience as a SAP HANA DBA or similar role
• Strong knowledge of SAP HANA architecture, administration, and features
• Experience with SAP HANA installation, configuration, upgrade, patching, backup, and recovery
• Experience with SAP HANA performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting
• Experience with SAP HANA security, encryption, and auditing
• Experience with SAP HANA replication, high availability, and disaster recovery
• Experience with SAP HANA integration with other SAP products and third-party tools
• Experience with SAP HANA Cloud Platform or SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud is a plus
• Certification in SAP HANA or related technologies is a plus
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
