Responsible for promoting and selling the company's logistics services, maintaining sales goals, pipeline, and objectives.
Building and maintaining customer relationships, assessing client-specific needs, and creating solutions that align with the company's logistics sales strategy.
Prospecting and cultivating new sales leads to establish business.
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with current and prospective customers.
Providing quotes for current and prospective customers using analytical and logistic planning.
Assessing customer needs and problems, communicating and implementing logistics solutions.
Working out logistics concepts to improve customers logistics supply chain.
Maintaining constant awareness of product offerings and developments in the logistics market.
Following up closely with current and prospective customers on offered solutions.
Taking ownership of customer issues and following through until resolution.
Responsible for ensuring successful pick-up and delivery, as well as providing over-the-road assistance for customers freight.
Performing any other related tasks assigned from time to time.
Job Requirements
Fluent in Mandarin (Compulsory) and English
Min SPM, Diploma or Degree major in Logistics, International business, marketing and economics an advantage;
Fresh graduate or Minimum 1 year work experience preferable sales / marketing in service industry
Experience in shipping agency industry will be an added advantage
Possess own transport, and is willing to travel outstation
Industry knowledge of both international and local Malaysian shipping practices will be an advantage;
Skills required: Customer Relationship Management skill, presentation skill, communication skill.
