You'll conduct market research, provide expert product recommendations, and negotiate contracts. In this role, youll propose innovative, creative and exciting new menus to F&B consumers, leveraging our leading edge food products. Collaborate with clients to craft unique menu items that stand out, and contribute to the culinary world by setting new trends in food presentation and taste.
Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans targeting bakeries, cafs, confectioneries, and relevant HORECA businesses.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and understand their needs.
Act as a trusted advisor to bakery, caf, confectionery, and relevant HORECA clients, providing product recommendations and solutions.- Present and promote our bakery and food service products to bakery owners, chefs, managers, and relevant HORECA decision-makers.
Negotiate pricing agreements, contracts, and terms of sale with bakery, caf, confectionery, and relevant HORECA clients.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted marketing campaigns for the bakery, caf, confectionery, and relevant HORECA segments.
Coordinate with internal departments for seamless delivery and support for bakery, caf, confectionery, and relevant HORECA clients.- Prepare quotations and ensure timely delivery of products.
Track and report sales activities, progress against key performance indicators, and sales plans.
- Maintain customer data in computer databases and manage customer complaints/issues.
Respond to customer orders and queries, inform customers of promotions and new products.- Execute continuous improvement activities to enhance sales processes and customer satisfaction.
Track and collect payments from customers.
- Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences relevant to the bakery, caf, confectionery, and relevant HORECA sectors.
Degree in Sales/Marketing, Culinary Arts, Food Science, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of sales experience in the F&B industry, preferably with HORECA and bakery ingredients.
Strong understanding of bakery, caf, and confectionery operations, ingredients, and techniques.- Passion for food and a genuine interest in culinary arts and food trends.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Computer and MS Office Suite.
Willingness to travel as needed.- Fluency in Malaysian Language and English, both written and spoken.
