Position Overview:
As the Sales Manager for the ENT/Neuro line of products, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth, managing key client relationships, and leading a high-performing sales team. You will be responsible for the strategic planning and execution of sales initiatives throughout Malaysia, ensuring that the department meets and exceeds its sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership:
- Lead the sales team in achieving departmental sales targets and objectives.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to grow the ENT/Neuro product line across Malaysia.
- Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the ENT and Neuro sectors.
- Expand the customer base through effective prospecting and relationship-building.
- Product Knowledge & Support:
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of ENT/Neuro products, market trends, and competitive landscape.
- Provide technical support and training to clients, ensuring optimal product utilization.
- Key Opinion Leader Engagement:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in the industry.
- Collaborate with KOLs to gain insights and promote product endorsements.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Foster strong relationships with existing clients, addressing their needs and concerns.
- Utilize effective communication skills to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty.
- Operational Excellence:
- Oversee the sales process, from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring a smooth customer experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and operations, to enhance product delivery and service.
- Performance Monitoring:
- Analyze sales data and market trends to assess performance and make informed decisions.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market opportunities for management review.
- Training & Development:
- Mentor and train junior sales staff to build a knowledgeable and effective sales team.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions to enhance the teams selling skills and product knowledge.
Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Life Sciences).
Minimum of 8 years of sales experience in the medical device industry, with a focus on ENT and/or Neuro products.- Extensive operating theater experience, with the ability to stand in during surgical cases as needed.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with healthcare professionals and stakeholders.
Strong selling skills with a strategic approach to closing deals.- Established network and rapport with Key Opinion Leaders in the ENT/Neuro field.
