The Sales Manager is responsible for leading the hotel's sales efforts, driving revenue growth, and maintaining strong relationships with clients. This role involves developing and implementing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and coordinating with various departments to ensure guest satisfaction and maximize profitability.

Key Responsibilities:_
- Sales Strategy and Planning:
Develop and execute sales plans and strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Analyze market trends, competition, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
Create and implement promotional plans and sales initiatives.
- Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, and event planners.- Conduct regular client visits, sales calls, and networking events.
Respond to client inquiries and ensure timely follow-up.
Work closely with the revenue management team to optimize room rates and occupancy levels.
- Monitor and adjust pricing strategies based on market conditions and hotel performance.
Maximize revenue through upselling and cross-selling services.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring favorable terms for the hotel.- Prepare proposals, contracts, and other documentation as needed.
Ensure compliance with hotel policies and legal requirements.
- Collaboration and Coordination:
Coordinate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
- Work with the operations team to ensure seamless service delivery for group bookings and events.
Collaborate with other departments to enhance guest experiences and address any issues.
Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for senior management.- Track and analyze sales performance metrics, adjusting strategies as necessary.
Monitor competitor activities and market trends to stay competitive.
- Team Leadership and Development:
Lead, mentor, and develop the sales team to achieve individual and team targets.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback and training.
Foster a positive and productive work environment.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.- Proven experience as a Sales Manager in the hospitality industry, preferably in boutique hotels.
Strong understanding of sales principles and techniques.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop effective sales strategies.- Proficiency in sales and CRM software.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of the local market and key industry contacts.
- Experience with revenue management systems and online booking platforms.
Familiarity with social media and digital marketing strategies.
This position may require occasional travel to attend client meetings, industry events, and conferences.- Flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends, may be required based on business needs.
