Our respective client (Manufacturing) is a leading provider of rigid plastic packaging solutions in Asia providing high quality products that meet the highest sustainability standards. They are looking for a Sales Manager to join their team.
The Sales Manager will identify new business opportunities and also drive sales growth within the respective sector.
- Prospecting and Lead Generation:
Proactively identify and research potential clients and market segments for rigid packing solutions.
Utilize various prospecting methods, including but not limited to cold calling and networking.
Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities to achieve sales targets.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate new markets and expand the customer base.
Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target organizations.
- Sales Negotiation and Closure:
Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to secure profitable business deals.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth implementation and delivery of solutions.
The ideal incumbent will be confident in leading from the front and be accountable for the growth of the company and must possess the below requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business, or equivalent
At least 5 years of experience gained in sales within the manufacturing sector.
Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably in the packaging industry
Strong understanding of packaging solutions industry trends
Passionate about sales with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
