Requirement:Education Background: Candidates with a relevant bachelor's degree, such as in business, marketing, agriculture, or a related field, are preferred.
Experience: Sales and management experience is crucial, preferably in the agriculture or food industry. Significant experience in a management or supervisory role is typically required.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with Malaysia's vegetable and fruit industry is essential. This includes an understanding of the supply chain, pricing, seasonal variations, and key industry players.
Language Skills: Proficiency in English, Bahasa Melayu and Mandarin.
Sales Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and manage the sales representative team.
Set sales targets and provide guidance and motivation to the team to achieve these goals.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of sales personnel through regular assessments.
Sales Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to achieve revenue and profit objectives.
Identify new markets and growth opportunities.- Stay informed about market trends, competition, and customer demands to adjust strategies accordingly.
Customer and Supplier Relationship Management:- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
Inventory Management:- Close liaising with stock partner and controller to ensure effective storage and distribution of products that meet quality standards.
Financial Management:- Prepare and manage the sales budget, track expenses and revenue.
Analyze financial data and sales reports to make informed decisions.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that the quality and freshness of products meet industry standards and customer expectations.
Implement and maintain quality control measures and food safety standards.
Sales Reporting:- Generate regular sales reports to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and report to senior management.
Marketing
- Propose and strategic planning for offline and online marketing
