We are looking for an energetic and results-driven Sales Manager / Sales Executive to join our team at Comexposium for the Food & Drinks Malaysia by SIAL project. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of one of the largest food and beverage (F&B) exhibition networks in the world. The role requires a proactive approach to driving sales, managing key client relationships, and expanding the event's exhibitor base, focusing on both local and international markets.

The SIAL Network is globally recognized as a leader in the F&B exhibition space, with events in major cities such as Paris, China, Canada, and more. Comexposium, the organizing company, is one of the worlds foremost event organizers, known for its extensive portfolio of over 150 events spanning various industries. By hosting Food & Drinks Malaysia by SIAL, Comexposium is bringing its international expertise to the Malaysian market, aiming to create a premier F&B trade show in Southeast Asia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve exhibitor participation and sponsorship targets.
Client Acquisition: Identify and acquire new exhibitors for Food & Drinks Malaysia by SIAL, focusing on key sectors such as Sweet Gastronomy, Seafood, Savory, Drinks & Beverage.
  • Client Management: Manage relationships with existing exhibitors, sponsors, and partners to ensure satisfaction and retention.
Market Research: Conduct market analysis to identify potential exhibitors and industry trends. Develop new business opportunities through competitive intelligence and networking.
  • Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations with exhibitors and sponsors, ensuring commercial terms align with company goals.
Reporting: Regularly track and report on sales performance, pipeline status, and key metrics to the Sales Director.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and event operations teams to ensure the successful execution of sales strategies and seamless exhibitor participation.
Budget Management: Manage sales budgets effectively, optimizing revenue generation while maintaining cost control.
  • Event Participation: Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote the exhibition and generate leads.

Key Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven experience in sales or business development roles, preferably in exhibitions, events, or F&B sectors.
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present compelling sales pitches.
Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation and contract management abilities.
  • Relationship Building: Ability to develop long-term relationships with clients, sponsors, and industry stakeholders.
Results-Driven: A motivated self-starter with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
Language Skills: Proficiency in English is required. Additional languages (e.g., Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin) are an advantage.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel locally and internationally to meet clients and attend industry events.

Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of the F&B industry and trade show environments is a strong advantage.
Experience in managing sales for large-scale exhibitions or trade fairs.
  • Ability to understand market trends and client needs, tailoring solutions accordingly.

Pay: RM7,
  • 00 - RM8,000.00 per month
