POSITION SNAPSHOT:

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Sales Intern (HoReCa) to join our team. This role offers a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sales and client relationship management. As a Sales Intern, you will be involved in various activities that contribute to our business growth and customer satisfaction. Your key responsibilities will include:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Research and Generate Lists of Potential Customers: Conduct market research to identify potential customers and compile comprehensive lists to support our sales team in targeting new business opportunities.
  • Help Develop Client Relationships and Retain Existing Accounts: Assist in building and nurturing strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and their expectations are exceeded. Work on strategies to retain existing accounts and foster long-term partnerships.
  • Update Documents and Sales Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, client interactions, and other relevant documentation. Ensure that all sales data is properly recorded and organized for easy access and analysis.
  • Assist in Evaluating New Partnership Opportunities: Collaborate with the sales team to assess potential partnership opportunities. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and other factors to identify and recommend new business prospects.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum Diploma qualification or equivalent.
  • Passion for a career in sales.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Fluency in English and Malay; proficiency in Chinese is a plus.
  • Adaptable and proactive in ambiguous environments, with effective problem-solving skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Capability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Agile mindset.
