JOB BRIEF:We are an established and diversified company in the construction industry for more than 40 years. We are now seeking an experienced to drive the sales and rental business of our equipment and heavy machineries as well as providing the necessary technical support for our local & overseas customers.
- ON SALES & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
1) To Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in the project and rental market segments.
2) To develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
3) To prepare and conduct technical presentations to potential customers.
4) To provide aftersales & technical support to customers, answering their queries and recommend relevant & appropriate solutions to address their concerns.
5) To work closely with the engineering and product development teams to understand the specifications, product features and functional capabilities of our equipment & machineries.
6) To organise and conduct product demonstrations and technical training sessions for our customers.
- ON CONTRACT ADMINISTRATION
7) To prepare detailed and accurate proposals and price quotations based on customer requirements.
8) To negotiate contracts with customers and to close sales deals so as to meet or exceed planned sales targets.
9) To ensure that the sales and contract documentations are to be properly, accurately & timely documented.
- ON MARKET RESEACH, MARKET ANALYSIS & SALES STRATEGY FORMULATION
10) To perform analysis on market trends & segmentation, customers needs and competitor offerings & their competitive advantage.
11) To identify new business opportunities and the companys core competencies.
12) To provide timely feedback & action plan to management for strategic sales & marketing planning.
- ON CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP BUILDING AND CUSTOMER RETENTION
13) To shortlist potential customers such as engineering consultants, developers and major contractors through conducting cold-calls, trade events, networking sessions and sales visits.
14) To maintain regular & friendly communication & follow up with key customer accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
15) To attend to customers enquiries and concerns promptly and professionally so as to keep up with the demanding customers expectation.
16) To have good understanding on the profile and buying needs of existing and potential customers and expand companys support and businesses, by providing professional pre-sales and post-sales technical support and services.
17) To position the company as a reliable and resourceful partner for delivering the professional technical support to customers during the pre-sales and after-sales.
18) To be responsible for all technical and pricing enquiries and to prepare and present concept proposals, specifications, benefits evaluation, price quotations to customers.
19) To prepare and submit monthly customer visitation and sales report to Head of Sales and/or the management.
- JOB COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
1) The candidates salary shall be commensurate with qualification and experience. The successful candidate is expected to earn an average of RM72,
- 00 per year with commission.
2) The candidate shall be given a 3-6 months job probation prior to confirmation
3) The candidate will be entitled to 7 days of annual leave upon confirmation.
4) The candidate shall be entitled a maximum 14 days of medical leave per year and a maximum claim of RM60.00 per visit/receipt and not more than RM700.00 per year.
5) The candidate will be covered by the corporate insurance policy for accident, injuries and hospitalisation during the course of works.
- CANDIDATES QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENTS:
1) Shall possess a diploma or a bachelor's degree in engineering. Additional certifications in marketing, business administration and/or hand-on experiences in these areas will be an added advantage. Shall be proficient with MS Words, MS Excel & PowerPoint Presentation software.
2) Shall have minimum 3 years experience working in the construction industry with proven sales of equipment and machinery products.
3) Shall possess strong communication, interpersonal, customer service mindset, and sales skills.
4) Shall possess the ability and skill to relate technical information to non-technical customers.
5) Shall possess excellent problem-solving skills in meeting customers needs.
6) Shall possess sales-driven ability to meet business targets and goals.
7) Shall possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to converse in English, Malay, and Chinese dialect
8) Shall possess own transport and ready to travel as and when is required to Klang Valley, and/or any places in peninsular Malaysia.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
