Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and penetrate new markets/projects in targeted industries/sectors to generate new sales.
- Provide solutions to customers to be more efficient in their production.
- Service existing customers assigned by the Company.
- Report details on all aspects of competitors activities.
- Conduct demonstrations of machines/equipment with the assistance of technicians.
- Attend to customers inquiries, prepare quotations with the assistance of sales admin, and follow-up action.
- Raise manual sales order, Goods Return / Exchange Form.
- Propose pricing agreement.
- Monitor debts and collect payments from customers.
- Deliver products/invoices to the customers, and collect tender/bid documents in urgent cases.
- Propose and assist with tender/bid submissions.
- Achieve objectives and sales targets set by the Management.
- Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
Qualifications & Skills
- SPM above
- Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience, preferably in the related field.
- Task and result-oriented.
- Good interpersonal and coordination skills.
- Persuasive, good presentation and negotiation skills, and a good team player.
- Experience/exposure in industrial/medical / specialty gases and ferrous metal base industrial environment
preferred.
- Knowledge of welding & cutting machines/consumables is an added advantage.
