Sales Engineer - Full Time - Selangor Darul Ehsan, Malaysia
Join our CT_MTCS team within Chemtech division in Malaysia as Sales Engineer to help us take our business to the next level.
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
Market, promote and sell assigned Sulzer Chemtech technologies and products in the territory.
Achieve sales targets and maintain cost budgets
Ensure that defined long-term and short-term objectives, strategies and plans are achieved.
Ensure consistent personal and professional contact to key customers, keeping excellent sales and high customer satisfaction.
Plan and ensure coordinated market introduction of new products
Prepare visiting schedules for visitors and support them.
Work closely with managers and engineers and corporate counterparts in setting group and individual objectives within the framework of overall strategies and provide guidance in the preparation of action programs, budgets and controls.
Provide regular reporting on market, projects, market analysis and sales forecasts.
Ensure that all business activities conform to local laws and regulations and are in compliance with company policies and procedures
Any other duties that are assigned by superior.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
Degree in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in selling process equipment and/or process plant to chemical, petrochemical, semiconductor industry or to engineering companies
Proven track record in achieving YoY sales growth with strong penetration and success in Malaysia segment
Strong network of established contacts with decision makers / influencers in end user and engineering companies from Chemical & Petrochemical and/or semiconductor industry
Experience working with international, multi ethnic and cultural teams
Experience dealing with Malaysia, Chemical & Petrochemicals, semiconductor and/or the other related industries.
