Hakko Products is looking for a resourceful, dependable and passionate Sales Engineer in Penang, Malaysia. You will be sourcing for new customer pool and strengthening our brand presence in the area. This position requires initiative, independence, ability to learn quickly, ability to manage relationships effectively, and superb communication skills. In this position, you will need to:
- Sales Targets: Achieving sales targets by developing and directing effective sales channels.
- Interaction: Plan and conduct sales visits and customer calls to build and maintain relationships with existing clients and expand the customer base.
- Demonstrations: Provide product demonstrations and maintenance services to clients, ensuring they have a comprehensive understanding of our solutions.
- Proposals: Propose product solutions according to customers requirements, utilizing your engineering knowledge to offer tailored solutions.
- Development: Develop and manage the local market, and execute new marketing initiatives to increase market share.
- Building: Build quality relationships with customers and managers to foster long-term partnerships.
- Awareness: Keep up with changes in the market and industry, as well as changes in customers needs, to stay ahead of the competition.
Requirements:
- Have Diploma/Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in equipment and/or solution sales in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills are essential.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
- Able to quickly grasp technical concepts and industry knowledge.
- Must be disciplined, independent, and able to work autonomously.
- A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Must possess own vehicle for client visits and meetings.
