- 1 To monitor, control and ensure total compliance of all safety, health and environmental, legal and corporate requirements of the company.
- 2 To anticipate, prevent and eliminate all unsafe conditions and practices on the site that could lead to occupational injuries and illness.
- 3 Work very closely with all department heads to provide input related to every major safety, health and environmental matters.
- 4 To ensure the site is in full compliance to local authorities requirements and provide training as necessary. Towards zero accidents/ injuries by periodic checks on all site procedures per requirements ensuring total adherence.
- 5 To be actively involved in risk/hazard assessment on the site in the spirit of continual improvement.
- 6 Dealing with DOE, DOSH, BOMBA and local authority to ensure good working relationship is maintained.
- 7 To comply with all safety rules, safety working practices and procedures.
- 8 To continue with weekly environmental checks around the factory/worksite to ensure the company complies with the SHE plan, procedures and statutory regulations.
- 9 To ensure the security at worksite.
- 10 To ensure the worksite is free from illegal activities.
- 11 To provide induction for new employees briefed on the Companys Safety Rules and Regulations.
- 12 To implement all policies, activities, procedures, instructions as relevant and required by the ISO 45001 Management System.
- 13 To ensure the Integrated Management Systems procedures and Anti-Bribery Management System are implemented.
- 1 Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering, Building Science or Certificate in Safety and Health Officer by NIOSH.
- 2 Registered as Safety Supervisor with DOSH.
- 3 Familiar with OSHA 1994 and FMA 1967 and its regulations
