RESPONSIBILITIES
- To assist in formulating safety & health policies and procedures following OSHA 1994 Act 514 & FMA 1967 requirements.
Plan and organize training and briefings on safety awareness programs, and safety orientations and formulate safety policies.- Executive EHS Monitoring Matrix Legal Requirements.
To revise and develop safety & health standard operating procedures according to the upgradation of work tasks.
- Monitor Accident and Incident Statistics, Safety Violation, Property Damage, etc.
Re-assess and conduct a risk assessment in accordance with the work task and develop preventive control enforcement.- Review existing policies and control measures aligned with the latest legislation requirement.
Initiate and organize relevant OSH training for employees.
- Inspect and identify non-conformity issues worksite.
Prepare and conduct, OSHWA Audit, and other audits related to EHS.- Observer and monitor abnormal acts or processes that potentially endanger workplace safety and health.
To conduct an investigation, 8D report, and RCCA.
- To present weekly and monthly safety health statistics reports.
To carry out the 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) practice within PKT Group of Companies.- Perform any other assignments as directed by the superior nd comply with the company's rules and regulations.
To undertake management of safety documentation and administration.
- To ensure the safety compliance of workers in the workplace,
To observe & report unsafe conditions and unsafe acts nd propose recommendation control.- To promote and implement safety & health programs and practices.
Prepare monthly safety and health reports and inspection checklists.
- Inspect all safety equipment, including firefighting equipment and first aid boxes.
To assist safety personnel.
COMPETENCE
Education: Degree/Diploma in occupational safety health management with OSH coordinator competency is mandatory
Experiences: Experience in document management and admirative matters
Skills : Must possess good leadership and proven interpersonal and communication skills, be able to communicate effectively in both English and Malay at all levels, competent in computer use especially MS Office, ability to work under pressure, good time management, self-motivated.
