Job Description Preview projects and project sites before work begins to determine safety related risks.
Visit active project sites to assess ongoing work conditions to ensure compliance to safety rules & regulations.
Discipline employees and subcontractors who fail to comply with minimum safety standards.
Maintaining safety related paperwork including submission to DOSH, CIDB, KKM and any other local authorities.
Maintain safety training certifications in compliance with DOSH standards.
Work with project management team and field workers to develop and implement solutions to safety related issues on project sites.
Educating employees on construction safety regulations.
Perform any other related duties assigned from time to time by the management.
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety) or its equivalent.
Green book holder and valid registration with DOSH as Safety and Health Officer.
Excellent communications skills and ability to convey proper understanding of safety and health regulations.
Ability to listen the ability to listen well and take in feedback from the employee perspective without passing judgment.
Knowledge of DOSH standards and regulations pertaining to the specific trade or activity being managed.
Required languages: English, Bahasa Melayu, both written and verbal.
Competent in using MS Office.
