Summary Of Responsibilities
We are looking for a Senior/Specialist for Process Automation to join our team. In this hybrid role, you will work from our Kuala Lumpur office and may have flexible working environment. As a Senior/Specialist for Process Automation, you will be responsible for executing and managing process automation projects with automation/ Robotic Process Automation (RPA) developers and engineers to design, develop, implement, and maintain automation solutions. This role combines technical expertise in automation-related tools and platforms with project management skills to ensure successful project delivery and ongoing support. This is a full-time position with growth opportunities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Management:
- Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of improvement/automation/RPA projects, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets
- Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets
- Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery
- Manage project team (developers and engineers) and stakeholders and provide guidance/coaching with clear objectives and performance expectations for the team.
- Technical Expertise:
- Possess strong knowledge of RPA and automation-related tools and platforms such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism.
- Work closely with the team to design and develop RPA/automation solutions that meet business requirements.
- Review and optimize existing RPA/automation processes for efficiency and scalability.
- Stay updated on the latest developments and best practices in RPA and automation-related technology.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and priorities.
- Work closely with other IT teams to integrate automation/RPA solutions with existing systems and processes.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
- Quality Assurance:
- Establish and enforce coding standards and best practices within the team
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to quality standards
- Implement testing strategies to ensure the reliability and accuracy of implemented solutions
- Documentation and Training:
- Document automation/RPA processes, workflows, and configurations
- Provide training and support to business users on using automation/RPA solutions effectively
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for automation/RPA projects
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in leading and managing technical teams
- Strong understanding of process improvement and RPA concepts and technologies
- Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Certification in RPA platforms (e.g., UiPath Certified RPA Associate) is a plus
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a high-pressured System Integrator environment exceptional self-starter will be considered
- Experience in the IT banking and Telecommunications sector would be an added advantage
