Job Purpose
Drive & support seamless performance of the EAST Credit organization, through identification and implementation of automation and digital solutions, facilitate projects, as well as providing relevant coordination for high-risk circumstances in volatile business environment (credit crisis). Partner with internal (Data & Digital Teams, Business IT) and external stakeholders (IT solutions suppliers) to co-create solutions aiming to maximize process automation, ensure availability of appropriate portfolio analytics tools & enabling seamless Credit Strategy Delivery. Facilitate an oversee delivery of relevant (IPP- and non-IPP driven) projects.
Drive people upskilling and future skilling of Credit EAST community members, driving preparation for FO 4.0 end-state for agreed priority capabilities based on FO4.0 Phased Milestones, as well as targeted upskilling programs for advanced (Strategic) Credit Risk Management and Credit advisory.
Apply structured problem-solving approach and project management methodology to respond to regional/global issues and opportunities.
Principal Accountabilities

- Support the Risk & Digital Solutions Manager to all key stakeholders within DS East, P&T, Upstream and Global DS Credit organization. Responsible for formulating advanced Credit Risk Management Solutions through available market standard/credit risk offers, Digitalization & Automation Agenda for the region, underpinned by agreed RDS Credit Integrated Process Plan (IPP). Alignment with credit & finance managers on Credit Strategies (delivery) via providing transparency on portfolio performance, optimizing cost-to-serve through automation & digitalization.
- As a Data & Digital FP, closely collaborate with other regional Risk & Digital Solutions Managers, as well as relevant COB Risk Managers in providing timely & accurate portfolio insights aimed to determine appropriate credit risk strategies for the business.
- Support ensuring availability relevant MI for the business to drive data-driven decision making
- Responsible for progressing FO 4.0 delivery & overall upskilling programs for regions supported.
- Responsibility for partnering with and providing advice to internal Credit (Risk Managers/Operations) and Finance stakeholders, as well as external counterparties where applicable (IT vendors)
- Responsible for overseeing delivery of Compliance/Controls, Continuous Improvement, Data & Digital & Business Project Agenda when assigned.
- Coordinate delivery of Enhanced Problem Solving (incl. Crisis Management) agenda, which requires transformative leadership qualities, capacity for complex and systems thinking as well as operational experience in the area of concern.
- Deliver a range of digitalization agenda through relevant Credit IPP, as well as external market information, including delivery of off-the-shelf solutions for all Credit Processes (Assessment, Debt Collection & Recovery, Cash Application) in collaboration with Process Excellence to ensure alignment to Global ERP & LCA strategy.
Besides core activities above, deliverables can include:
- Analysis of economic macro indicators in conjunction with available internal information to provide a timely analysis and indication of required changes in Credit Risk Management strategies.
- Providing steer and guidance for non-credit led projects to ensure E2E integrate view are considered.
- Helping the business with key analytical recommendations to support and challenge the business in their market growth/consolidation efforts.
- Assessing Investment Proposal from Credit perspective providing structured feedback to business partners (according to materiality of cases).
- Manage issues that have been escalated where the allocated resolution owner is unable to provide a resolution.
Capabilities & Skills
- Solid experience in E2E DS Credit Management processes
- Demonstrated skill in problem solving, CI and/or project management; CI and Project Management certifications a plus
- Experience deploying systems, digital solutions or analytics tools
- Excellent interpersonal, communication (verbal and written), and stakeholder management skills. Must have the professional competence and confidence to work effectively with both internal and external customers.
- Strong influencing and negotiating skills with ability to make tough decisions and assume accountability for those decisions; proven ability to deliver excellent business outcomes without formal authority
- Must be positive, assertive, and self-motivated to achieve results. A strong team player and demonstrated evidence of leadership skills.
- Ability to analyze, interpret and visualize data to effectively convey insights and inform business decisions.
