Oversee revenue management and distribution strategy of the hotel and manage day to day yield operations. Daily pick-up analysis, strategy adjustments and reporting. Perform competitive benchmark studies and follow market trends- Ensures the smooth and efficient operations in the department through prompt, effective and proper reservations service to achieve maximum room revenue in order to meet or exceed the revenue target.
Supervising General Job Performance of reservation staff implementing of policies and procedures under guidance of Front Office Manager, training, responsible and perform any other duties might requested by Front Office Manager.
Aware of all revenue targets and are kept informed of performance results.
- Work with the hotel sales and front office team to identify additional business opportunities.
Develop and implement yield process for the hotel.- Analyze and give recommendations on yielding rooms revenue through market intelligence.
Analyze key account production, identify accounts that fall short of guaranteed room nights as per pricing grid, identify and bring to attention accounts that are producing less than target / last year.
- Analyze competitors activities and pricing strategies for rooms. Produce relevant reports to support revenue decisions.
Bring attention to any opportunities or risks which may affect the customer or the business.- Research and implement special revenue projects designated by Operations Manager or CEO.
Liaise and follow up with support departments to ensure that special projects assigned are carried out.
- At all times aware of revenue opportunities within the hotel which will assist in the maximization of revenue & profit.
Checking on Rate Parity between hotel brand website vs OTAs. Action if any rate parity.- Maximizing revenue opportunities in central reservations system (i.e. IFCA) and global distribution system (i.e SiteMinder) with data from subscribed reports and market intelligence.
Manage and lead the reservations team daily operations.
- Produce relevant month end reports for Operations Manager.
To ensure to set the correct selling strategy / price and the room type availability must be kept accurate highlighting any potential obstacles to occupancy immediately to the Front Office Manager and Operations Manager.- Handling incoming reservations via telephone, email or fax and converting enquiries into bookings by positively selling and promoting the products and services of the hotel.
Daily check Group Booking, follow up with Sales if any delay, discrepancy, etc.
- To gather intelligence information from competitors and travel partners.
Maximization of group room sales and revenue for the future to pre-set availability and rate control ensure a high level of product knowledge of the hotel and the local area.- Daily Check Group Allotments, Blocks, Traces, Arrivals and other reports. Follow up with sales if any delay, discrepancy, et in Group bookings
Prepare Group Summary for upcoming week on a weekly basis.
- Review Group Blocks to ensure no room type is overbooked.
Ensure all refused business is recorded with reason for refusal.- Adhere to company credit policies to ensure that all revenue expected will be received.
To ensure proper control of the room inventory. To highlight any abnormalities to Front Office Manager and Operations Manager.
- Adheres to all standards, policies and procedures in compliance with the hotel.
