  • Responsibilities
  • Customer Assistance:
Greet customers and assist them in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Actively listen to customer needs and provide product information, recommendations and solutions.
Help customers navigate different channels (in-store, online, mobile) to find and purchase desired products.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and effectively.
  • Order Management:
Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring product availability, pricing accuracy, and adherence to company policies.
  • Assist customers with online or mobile orders, including troubleshooting technical issues, order tracking, and delivery inquiries.
Coordinate order fulfillment, including picking, packing, and online order pickup by shipping partner to customers.
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., inventory manager, logistics) to ensure timely and accurate order processing.
  • Channel Integration:
Promote and educate customers about the benefits and features of omnichannel shopping.
  • Guide customers in utilizing different channels seamlessly, such as facilitating in-store pickups of online orders or demonstrating mobile app functionalities.
Provide training and assistance to customers in accessing and navigating various digital platforms.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent and synchronized messaging across all channels.
  • Product Knowledge:
Develop a comprehensive understanding of the products offered by the store, including features, benefits, pricing, and promotions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new product releases, and competitor offerings.
Share product knowledge with customers to help them make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Actively engage in product training sessions and utilize available resources to enhance knowledge base.

  • Sales and Conversion:
Proactively engage with customers to identify their needs and suggest appropriate products or services.
  • Utilize effective selling techniques to maximize sales and meet or exceed individual and team targets.
Up-sell and cross-sell complementary products or accessories to enhance the customer's shopping experience and increase average transaction value.
  • Monitor and follow up on leads generated through various channels, converting them into sales opportunities.
  • Store Operations:
Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring products are properly displayed and stocked.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in restocking merchandise as needed.
Adhere to company policies and procedures, including cash handling, return/exchange processes, and security measures.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and contribute to a positive work environment.
  • Technology and Systems:
Utilize point-of-sale (POS) systems, inventory management software, and other retail technology platforms effectively.
  • Troubleshoot basic technical issues encountered by customers or colleagues, escalating complex problems when necessary.
Stay updated on new technologies and tools relevant to omnichannel retail, providing suggestions for process improvements.
