1) Receiving, handling, and planning deliveries and shipments appropriately.
2) Recognize every product category and uphold the freshness and quality of all products (food and non-food) (Dry Goods).
3) Restock, move products ahead, and make sure that every shelf on the sales floor is well-stocked with product in accordance with the FIFO (First In First Out) and FEFO (First Expiry First Out) practices for each product category
4) Perform a daily check on the price change report to ensure that every product has the correct price and description.
5) Ensure that Point of Purchase (POP) cards contain the necessary information and are displayed in accordance with corporate policy and legal requirements.
6) Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of the storage area, selling floor and entire department according to company SOP.
7) Checking near expiry products & remove expired products according to company SOP.
Inform superiors on stock movement and suggest stock ordering.
8) Always give customers excellent service.
9) Help and support all marketing, sales, and promotional initiatives.
10) Greeting customers and responding to their inquiries regarding product locations.
11) Take payments from clients in cash, by bank transfer, and via credit card.
12) Checking that the sums in the register are accurate by counting the money at the beginning and end of shifts.
13) Assist with other jobs as needed, such as keeping the shelves stocked and maintaining prices.
14) Handle Grab order till packing to riders.
15) Carry out any additional responsibilities for ad hoc assignments and general operational tasks.
