Job Description

Job Responsibility

  • Preparing and serving hot and cold drinks such as coffee, tea, artisan and speciality beverages.
  • Cleaning and sanitising work/ service areas, utensils and equipment
  • Describing menu items and suggesting products to customers
  • Servicing customers and taking orders
  • Ordering, receiving and distributing stock supplies
  • Knowing the different roasts and brewing processes.
  • Operating espresso machines and other equipment.

Job Requirements

  • At least 1 year experience
  • Minimum SPM Certification
  • Able to work on shifts, weekends and during Public Holidays
  • Great communication skills
  • High level of attention-to-detail
  • Adaptable to change and willing to embrace new ideas and processes
  • Ability to work unsupervised and deliver quality work
  • Pleasant personality with good problem-solving skills
  • Team player qualities
  • Familiarity with coffee brewing and tea preparation equipment preferred
  • Prior barista or related training a plus
  • Language required: English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin
