Plan, implement, and execute safety management programs
Providing guidance to the project management team regarding health and safety issues and ensuring the site complies with all industry, local, state and federal guidelines.
Ensure the projects site have been complied with the legal and authority requirements, including Safety & Health policies, procedures, rules and regulations are adhered to and are regularly reviewed and communicated.
Reporting to Project Manager and related department immediately if any fatal and serious accident and dangerous occurrences.
Ensure that all accidents are documented, investigated and recommended improvements implemented.
Maintaining and analyzing incident statistic and submit report to related Department including preparing HIRARC (Hazard identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control) and JSA (Job Safety Analysis).
Assessing, advising and organizing safety training and education to enhance safety awareness and safety skill for workers and site staffs.
Promoting and participating in safety committee activities and maintain appropriate records, including Safety Meeting, Toolbox, New workers induction and etc.
Job Requirements
Good working knowledge in both written and spoken in Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia and English.
Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety) or equivalent.
Must possess a valid Green Book and SHO Certificate certified by DOSH.
At least 3 years of working experience
Good in communication skills, conflict management, problem-solving, leadership and reporting skills.
A good eye for safety and the ability to pay attention
