Job Description:
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize the use of resources, including raw materials, energy, and finished goods, in accordance with company objectives and sustainability goals.
Conduct assessments and audits to identify opportunities for resource conservation, waste reduction, and cost savings.- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement resource management plans and initiatives, including recycling and reuse programs.
Monitor resource consumption and performance metrics to track progress towards sustainability targets and identify areas for improvement.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure the efficient procurement and utilization of materials and resources.
Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to resource management and sustainability.- Develop and deliver training programs to employees on resource conservation, waste reduction, and environmental stewardship.
Serve as a liaison with regulatory agencies, industry associations, and community stakeholders on resource management issues and initiatives.
- Support the development and implementation of environmental management systems and certifications.
What are we looking for:-
- Bachelors degree in environmental science, Engineering, Business Development, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in resource management, sustainability, or related field.- Strong knowledge of resource management principles, practices, and technologies.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.- Willingness to travel short term to Bintulu, Sarawak, or be based in the area is highly encouraged.
