JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Works under general guidance and following work instructions; the work includes literature study, analysis, technical writing for methods, patents and experiments output, designing protocol and carrying out experiments (syntheses and performance tests), handling interpretation of data
Collaborates with and supports colleagues by giving technical input and sharing the expertise with a teamwork mindset.
To implement and ensure all activities carried out compliance with FSSC 22000 and Halal requirements.
To perform other job-related duties as may be assigned by the management.
Assist in the management of laboratory with a strong focus on a work safety culture.
Applying technical knowledge to develop and optimize the new and existing oleochemical products. Ensuring implementation of those developments from lab to production scale;
Planning, executing, reviewing and delivering assigned projects
Incorporating industry requirements, ensuring traceability of work;
REQUIREMENTS:
Candidate must possess at least a Master/Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Material Science or Physical Chemistry.
1-2-years experience in related field, but fresh graduates are also welcome to apply
Having an understanding of structure property relationships and chemistry
Analytical method knowledge such as GC, MS, DSC, TGA, etc will be an advantage
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment;
Autonomy, rigor, creativity and team spirit.
Well versed in English and Mandarin (to communicate with China customers and supplier)
Self-motivated, with the ability to work proactively using own initiative.
