Your role:

Working closely with our in-house video production team, you will be tasked with a variety of editing duties, including cutting quick 30-50 second 1x1 ratio dynamic clips for release on social media, product demonstration videos using 2-camera angles and B-roll, cutting product feature videos for Amazon storefront listings using dynamic graphics, basic internal instructional video editing for knowledge base library build-out, and longer-form documentary story editing as needed.

We need a malleable Swiss-army knife type of editor who can work remotely with limited direction, who is comfortable with creative freedom and decision-making, and who can adapt to the variety of project types assigned to them.

Requirement:

• Must be available between 9 am -6 pm Central Time. (40 hours/ week)
• 3+ years of experience as a video editor for marketing, broadcast, or film industries.
• Editor Reel/samples of recent editing projects.
• Past client list / CV/ Resume.
• Proficiency in working with Premiere Pro, with a critical emphasis on using the Team Projects feature.
• Detailed file organizationcritical for maintaining Premiere Team Projects. Strong creative emphasis on storytelling.
• After Effects familiarity is a plus.
• Ability to create or use licensed graphic templates and work within established branding parameters.
• Basic sound design proficiency, including the ability to troubleshoot audio issues and adequately resolve them on your own.
• Comfort with problem-solving technical issues as they arise.
• High-speed internet is required for the download/upload of raw footage and review clips via Frame.io or GDrive.
• English speaking.
• Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment; if your idea is the strongest, it will prevail.
• Familiarity in the Tactical / Firearms market is a plus.
