Rehab Assistant

• Provide Therapy Support

• Assist the therapist in assessing patient's status for suitability to start therapy sessions or continue with therapy session.
  

• Prepare clients, material and equipment for assessment or therapy.
  

• Assist therapists in carrying out treatment plans.
  

• Perform therapy procedure according to protocol as instructed by therapists.
  

• Communicate information of therapy sessions to therapists.
  

• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic interventions an instructed by the therapists.
  

• Conduct basic or routine therapy.
• Support department administration and operation

• Maintain cleanliness and safety of therapy areas.
  

• Adhere to infection control procedures.
  

• Maintain inventories and equipment for the department.
  

• Perform administrative duties.
  

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Support specialty therapy areas

• Assist therapist in fabricate the splint, orthosis, transferring and activities daily living.
  

• Assist therapist in administrative activities etc; preparing material including photocopy, laminating, preparing worksheet.
