Job Summary:
We are looking for a passionate HSEQ Regulatory & Compliance Assistant who will be responsible to assist in providing support, advise and guidelines to WSM's management office with respect to state regulatory compliance for vessels trading to USA and others as well as to assist in providing periodical billing information to Corporate Finance and process payment to service providers and to assist in providing support in GHSEQ administrative process.

Location: Menara 1 Sentral - Kuala Lumpur
Report to: Assistant Manager, US Compliance
What You'll Responsible For:
- To assist and support WSM Management Centres during certification, audits and during preparation of vessel documentation required by regulations, codes and standards.
- To assist and support Management Centres in procurement and upkeeps of plans and certificates for compliance of OPA 90, Federal and State Specific requirements Marpol and Panama Canal related requirements and others.
- To assist and ensure all vessels are included in Classification Society Emergency Response Services.
- To assist and ensure all vessels trading to USA, Canada and others are entered into necessary agreements with QI, OSRO, ERS and Media Management and state specific marine and spill response program.
- To assist in preparing invoices for third party service providers.
- To assist in preparing information for Corporate Finance on amounts to be charged for services provided by GHSEQ via monthly and annual billings.
- To assist in Administration / Reconciliation of annual fee payment to resources contracted as QI / OSRO / Media Management services on behalf of customers.
- To assist in organizing HSEQ and DC meetings in cooperation with Corporate HR.
- To assist in maintaining GHSEQ database of vessel, plans and compliance status.
What Experience and Skills Required:
- Appreciation of Shipping Industry, preferably with HSEQ Background. Fresh Graduate are encouraged to apply.
- Knowledge of Company Applications.
- Good Computer Skills.
- Good Communication Skills.
- Broad based commercial knowledge and understanding.
- Experience from process development and documentation .
