Context :
Covering Region Asia Pacific (Excluding China (PRC) and India)
Axens Licensing Business is to supply advanced technologies, Basic Engineering and services for our customers (studies, training, etc..). We want to propose long-term sustainable and efficient solutions for the production of clean fuels and chemicals intermediate from Oil or any other carbon source including bio- renewable sources, circular economy, carbon capture and utilization, and hydrogen.
We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager responsible for conducting business development and commercial activities related to the sales of Technologies licensed by Axens .
Missions
Reporting to the Commercial Director in Axens South East Asia, the Regional Sales Manager will ensure sales prospection work, business development, and promote the sales of process licensed units, associated equipment and services within Axens technology portfolio. You will also promote/support Product sale, Equipment and Module sale and consulting offer associated with Axens technology portfolio in Asia Pacific Region (Excluding China PRC and India).
- You will integrate in a team of Sales Managers sharing the Asia Pacific market.
- You will ensure sales prospection work by:
- Organizing visits to customers on regular basis. If needed, you will be able to do preliminary technical presentations.
- Organizing, participating, and/or presenting at seminars & conferences.
- Understand and gather intelligence of regional business by prospecting for opportunities and gaining, documenting, and sharing internally knowledge of country and regional regulations and incentives programs.
- By building / strengthening professional network.
- You will prepare and present commercial offers.
- You will manage contract preparation/finalization/negotiation with Legal Department.
- You will manage interface between customers and the various services of Axens and potential parties working with Axens (IFPEN or other Licensing Partners when applicable).
- You will manage the sales follow up in the region: Dedicated reporting, sales forecasting, regular filling of CRM, and transmission of information to Sales Support for SAP update.
- You will exchange/communicate with other Sales Managers covering the region and report to the Commercial Director ensuring an efficient team work.
- You will be based in Axens South East Asia offices in Kuala Lumpur.
Knowledge And Required Level
- Experienced Engineer, justifying at least 10 years of professional experience, with a deep knowledge of refining, petrochemical, and bio-renewable market, especially general know-how of technologies that a Licensor like Axens can propose. Good knowledge about bio-renewable market is a bonus.
- Familiar with Asia Pacific refining, petrochemical and bio-renewable Market.
- Having at least 5 years of previous sales experience and business development experience.
- Past experience working with established major regional players in Refining, Petrochemical or Bio-Renewables as well as new comer project developers is a plus.
- English will be the working language.
- Knowing French and/or regional languages would be a bonus.

- You need to be available for frequent business trips within the region (40 to 60%) and to visit our HQ located in France (Mainly for training and meetings when needed).
