About The Job
Responsible for formulating and executing a sales strategy for the Equipment Heat Exchanger business, comprising of BU BFB and Equipment GPHE, in accordance with the assigned targets and local sales company/divisional strategy and targets. Responsible for leading, developing and securing a high performing sales team in line with the Alfa Laval culture.
Job Description
- Strategically manage the Equipment GPHE and BFB business units to exceed sales and profitability targets.
- Develop the business by driving relevant sales and business development activities to get the customer Loyalty and satisfaction: Market Analysis, Pricing, Visits, Seminars and other initiatives
- Lead a large team, spread across the region, fostering a culture of excellence and aligning with the company's strategic objectives.
- Drive our 4 ways to market strategy, enhancing sales through key customer engagement and channel partnerships.
- Drive sales initiatives with key customers & channels within the SEA region.
- Sales forecasts & budgeting.
- Developing business plan and marketing activities.
- Collaborate with central business unit colleagues to synchronize strategies and initiatives, ensuring a unified approach to market challenges.
- Utilize strong leadership and business acumen to navigate the complexities of the SEA market, setting a benchmark for success.
- Ensure effective communication across a diverse, geographically spread team, maintaining cohesion and operational clarity.
- Ensure governance and compliances as per the established policies and procedures.
- Formulate, implement and update the sales plan for distributors. Overall manage distributor business in planning, reviewing of the sales and marketing.
- Manage activities for the distribution business, including their business volumes, inventories & financials.
- Gather market intelligence and provide inputs for development of long term business plans.
- Implement pricing strategy as per the established transactional pricing process for distributors and key customers.
- Establish right technical & commercial support for the distributors ensuring that they provide a seamless professional customer experience.
What You Know
- A proven track record in leadership and team management, preferably within industrial capital goods segment.
- Experience in working with Distributors, EPCs, consultants, datacenters, HVAC or refrigeration.
- Exceptional business acumen with a strategic mindset, capable of driving business growth and market expansion.
- Outstanding communication & negotiation skills, with proficiency in working across diverse cultures and geographies in the SEA region.
- A collaborative spirit, able to forge strong relationships with central business unit colleagues and external partners.
- A history of achieving and surpassing business objectives, with a focus on customer satisfaction and team development.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; MBA preferred.
- Fluency in English; additional SEA languages preferred.
