In this role that you are about to embark on, you are required to carry out the following responsibilities:
- Support the Head of Marketing in developing and refining the Product Strategy, definition of product features and requirements, building product business development roadmaps, conducting product test, managing product information and its release, conducting sales and support training.
- Manage the Product Portfolio and Product Brand Architecture for the business. This will involve leading teams to develop new products, tuning and streamlining of current products and SKU's, re-branding and re-positioning of products to sustain upper quartile performance of the product portfolio.
- Monitor, analyze and improve the product performance including volume and profitability. This P&L function includes developing a detailed knowledge of the cost structure, especially product recipes.
- Forecasting and scenario planning to support Annual Budgeting process and the Monthly/Quarterly review of business performance including volume allocation and profitability.
- Work with marketing and sales team to plan and implement global marketing plans. This will include contribution to organizing trade shows and special events, product and application trainings.
- Responsible for competitor product benchmarking and work with technical, production & finance team to differentiate & improve our products.
- Support sales team on key customer, end-user or partner development.
- Develop potential technical specifications, pricing considerations and contract requirements.
- Investigate new applications or improvements to products with customers. Responsible for the lifecycle management of the product portfolio.
- To provide the vital link between the customer and the mill in related to technical and performance matters and provides technical know-how to the marketing team.
