Hiring of Regional Finance Manager

• Salary Range : RM 12,000 RM 18,000

• Job Scope

• Accounting Operations

Review and enhance accounting practices across the APAC region.

• Identify areas for improvement and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Develop and implement standardized accounting guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for consistency and compliance.

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations for the APAC region.

Establish and enforce procedures for accurate documentation of all accounting transactions.

• Budget Planning and Expense Management

Lead annual financial budgeting planning for APAC and review submission.

• Oversee the projection of expenses for all markets within the APAC region.

Develop and implement strategies for effective fund management, optimizing cash flow, and liquidity.

• Monitor and analyze expenditure to ensure expenses align with budgetary constraints and identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.

Collaborate with business units to understand their financial needs and provide strategic financial support.

• Provide guidance on financial matters to regional teams, ensuring a strong financial acumen across the organization.

• Financial Analysis and Reporting

Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with corporate objectives.

• Conduct regular financial forecasting and budget analysis to support business planning, identifying areas for improvement and cost optimization, and presenting findings to senior leadership with a focus on key performance indicators.

Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

• Compliance and Audit

Ensure organized and complete records in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal policies

• Work closely with stakeholders and external auditors to facilitate audits.

Implement corrective actions based on audit findings to enhance financial controls and compliance.

• Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is preferred.

• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles. Experience in a regional finance management role is preferred.

In-depth knowledge of accounting and financial reporting standards, tax, and other regulations.

• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.

Ability to think strategically and contribute to the development of financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
