Huntsman Corporation is now looking for a dynamic individual as a Regional Compensation & Benefits Analyst. This position supports the development and implementation of compensation and benefits (C&B) programs that provide a competitive level of pay, motivation, and reward to employees within APACI region, which focuses on cash programs (salaries, bonuses), cash equivalent programs (allowances), and benefits programs.

The ideal candidate will be located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

As a Regional C&B Analyst you will support in the review, developing and implementation of regional reward framework with following areas of focus:

Provides expert input on and manages the current compensation and benefits activities, supported by the Regional Total Rewards Manager designs, implements, organizes communication and prepares processing tools for the following activities:

  • Salary policy lines
  • Bonus / variables pay / incentives / performance-related schemes
  • Merit schemes
  • Salary benchmarking
  • Benefits programs such as pension fund and medical insurance
  • Well-being program such as Employee Support Program
  • Other special payment plans for specific segments of associates population.

Analyzes costs and competitive trends in cash compensation and benefits programs and identifies the organization's market positioning and recommend moving forward solutions.

Leads in the proactive review of benefits and well-being programs and policies, provide expert analytical review and monitor closely the economic situation and market C&B trends.

Identifies new solutions or improvements to established C&B approaches.

Leads in APACI group insurance renewal, collaborate with APACI HR to review country renewal plans with insurance carriers, follow up with insurance carriers to review their annual service level.

Supports in preparation of data and participation in market benchmarking/surveys. Gains market intelligence and well-versed on new emerging C&B trends/practices.

Participates in strategic C&B projects and participate in cross-functional HR programs.

What skills and experiences are we looking for

Bachelor's degree with graduate qualification in HR/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Science/ Information Technology or any other relevant discipline.

Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

Demonstrate strong analytical skills and strong attention to details to perform in depth analyses.

Strong Microsoft Office experience in MS Excel, Powerpoint.

Highly organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks, time management skills effectively.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to establish strong relationship with internal customers (Local HR) and external vendors.

Good working knowledge of C&B, HR principles and practices and market pay practices and trends.
