Job Summary
We are looking for a Redwood Batchjob Administrator with 5 years of experience to join our team and manage the scheduling and execution of batch jobs across our enterprise applications. You will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance, availability, and security of our batch processes, as well as troubleshooting and resolving any issues that may arise.
Job Responsibilities
• Configure, monitor, and maintain Redwood batch schedules and workflows for various applications, such as SAP and Salesforce.
• Ensure that batch jobs are executed on time, with the correct parameters, and with the expected results.
• Analyze and optimize batch performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Implement and enforce batch security policies and standards.
• Provide technical support and guidance to end users and other stakeholders on batch-related issues.
• Document and update batch processes, procedures, and best practices.
• Collaborate with other IT teams and vendors to ensure the integration and compatibility of batch solutions.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 8 years of experience as a Redwood Batch Administrator or similar role.
• Expert knowledge of Redwood batch scheduling and administration tools and features.
• Proficient in scripting languages, such as Shell, Perl, or Python.
• Strong understanding of batch processing concepts, such as dependencies, triggers, alerts, and exceptions.
• Experience with various enterprise applications, such as SAP and Salesforce.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Flexibility to work on different shifts and on-call as needed.
