Daily Operation and System Support :-

- To monitor and maintain all servers and OS related services during daily operation and

recovery operation or testing to keep a system healthy and to ensure that systems are

performing within the expected range.

- Unlimited on-line (remote) and on-site support for and its related System Software

- Perform 24x7 monitoring of Critical Red Hat Servers (The Company shall provide details

on the method, tools used, alert mechanism, etc.

- Provide break fix support, monitoring and maintenance to all servers and OS related

services during daily operation and recovery operation or testing to keep a system healthy.

- To ensure that systems are performing within the expected range

- For routine maintenance activities, use checklist and alerts to mistake-proof processes,

and make sure to note any changes in task sequence that might affect system operability

- To reliably address operating considerations and maintain the health state of a service,

monitoring and maintenance tasks should be organized into a schedule designed to keep

the service in the desired state

- Assist to ensure completion of security-related tasks, including fixing, firmware or kernel

upgrade, hardening and patching.

- Maintain latest inventory and documentations of Red Hat server specifications, server

owner, application support and application/software installed on the server

- Perform 24x7 monitoring of critical server (The Company shall provide details on the

method, tools used, alert mechanism etc.

- To perform patching based on latest vulnerability and severity whichever required

- To perform migration and integration of VM or Physical into Virtual Environments or

Physical and vice versa

- To engage professional advisory services from Red Hat Principal for the system

improvement

- To assist on automation of current process related to the OS. This include scripting based

on the case provided.

- To assist new IT Project such as server deployment, migration services, integration to

Nagios Monitoring and Puppets, server IT Security scanning, end-to-end testing and day-today operational work (BAU-Business As Usual)

- To provide operations and organization design and mobilization services to support the

design and mobilization of the current system in place such as DR activities

Note: Support Engineers shall be at a minimum, a Red Hat Certified System

Administrator (RHCSA)
