Job Description

The Role:

The first point of contact for the organization and duties include offering administrative support across the organization. Welcome and greet guest, coordinate front-desk activities, including distributing correspondence and redirecting phone calls.

Responsibilities:


These include, but are not limited to:

  • Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the School premises

  • Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office

  • Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls

  • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)

  • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email

  • Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries

  • Maintain School security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)

  • Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock

  • Update calendars and schedule meetings

  • Keep updated records of office expenses and costs

  • To ensure that guest expectation and request are met and at the same time to provide proper information to all guest and to attend to any dissatisfaction faced by guest

  • Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing

  • To attend to any ad-hoc tasks (related or non-related)/ analysis requested by the management from time to time.

    This job description sets out the duties of the post at the time it was drawn up. Such duties may vary from time to time without changing the general character of the duties of the level of responsibility entailed.

    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

    Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
