Position: Research and Development Manager
- Immediate Superior: R&D Manager Headquarters / Director / Chief Operating Officer
- Lead the R&D department.
- Oversee the entire New Product Development (NPD) process from concept to commercialization, including development, shelf life studies, and technical data sheets (TDS).
- Drive all development and optimization efforts for innovative and renovation projects.
- Manage trial runs, troubleshoot issues, and enhance control settings.
- Spearhead new product development and transfer recipes from headquarters.
- Proactively design and implement R&D operational procedures.
- Ensure product compliance with country regulations.
- Lead the recruitment of R&D personnel.
- Develop and execute plans for growth, building a high-performing team by retaining and nurturing talent, identifying learning opportunities, and providing proactive coaching.
The R&D Manager is responsible for developing new products and improving existing ones in terms of cost and quality. This role ensures efficient production and manufacturing processes, coordinates team efforts, and facilitates communication between management and production departments. The R&D Manager is also responsible for ensuring that company'sproduct quality meets the requirements of relevant authorities and customers.

Skilled in managing cross-functional teams, including sales & marketing, manufacturing, and external partners.
- Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related fields.
- Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology/Science & Nutrition, Culinary Arts, Chemistry, Biology, or equivalent.
- Work Experience Requirements:
- Over 5 years of experience in a food company in a managerial or assistant managerial role.
- Age Requirement: 30-50 years old
- Strong command of oral and written English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of food technology and formulation.
- Expertise in food analysis, both theoretical and practical.
- Understanding of fat chemistry.
- Experience in mentoring and coaching.
- Familiarity with food process regulations and requirements.
- Integrity and approachability for discussing sensitive and confidential issues.
- Curiosity and a willingness to challenge organizational culture when necessary.
- Ability to compile and interpret statistical data and present it professionally.
- Strong organizational skills.
