Responsibilities:- Conducting detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for residential construction projects.
Analyzing project plans and specifications to accurately determine materials, labor, and equipment requirements.- Collaborating with project managers and engineers to develop comprehensive project budgets.
Monitoring project costs throughout the construction process and identifying potential cost overruns or savings opportunities.
- Negotiating with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to secure competitive pricing for materials and services.
Preparing and submitting progress claims, variations, and final accounts in accordance with contractual agreements.- Providing regular reports on project financial performance, including cost-to-complete forecasts and cash flow projections.
Conducting cost analysis and value engineering exercises to optimize project efficiency and minimize costs without compromising quality.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and health and safety requirements.
Supporting the procurement team in sourcing and evaluating potential suppliers and subcontractors.
- To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Quantity Survey or equivalent.- At least 2 year(s) of working experience in similar capacity
