Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Quantity Surveyor at a Contruction Company based in Kuala Lumpur. OB

Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for quantity, budget estimation from design drawings, design modification tracking, cost adjustments, etc.

Communicate cost estimate adjustments to management and subcontractors to ensure a smooth transition of information.

Prepare a quantity and cost statement, cost planning ledger, a variation ledger, a measurement ledger, subcontract settlement and payment ledgers.

Responsible in collecting cost data, coordinating cost analysis, calculating and completing output value planning.

Maintain a contract-compliant record of work progress, resolve construction disputes, and photograph construction activity on-site.

Participate in tenders, prepare and submit relevant tender documents and information.

Manage the department's documentation.

Any other duties as assigned from time to time by the Management.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in civil engeering field
• Cost Control and Cost Reporting skills
• Experience in BOQ preparation and Cost Planning
• Knowledge of Cost Management
• In-depth understanding of construction, materials, pricing, and industry
• Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions
• Excellent analytical and numerical abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Familiar with ISO 9001 & ISO 37001 Procedures
• Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
