To perform full range of Quantity Surveyor (Pre and Post) activities that include tender, estimation, quantities take-off, claim preparation, etc.
Prepare cost estimate and bills of quantities.
Prepare tender documents, tender report, quotation costing and contract documents
To prepare for the submission of interim progress claim and to ensure work done is being certified timely and accurately by client/main contractor through site valuation
To monitor and ensure all variation orders are well recorded and claimed
To ensures the timely closing of final account
To review letter of appointments, contract drawings and documents and to highlight any deviation from the tender
Prepare Letter of Award or Work Order to Sub-Contractor Works
Assist in the overall administration matters of various contractors and sub-contract
To verify and prepare progress claim and variation order submitted by sub-contractor and supplier to ensure payment are in order and according to the terms of sub-contract and supply contract.
To attend site meeting as and when required by management
Liaise with sub-contractors, sourcing and calling for quotation for comparison purpose
Other related duties as assigned by superior liaise with consultants, sub-contractors and supplier
Advise on contractual matters and claim avoidance.
Job Requirements
Proficiency in speaking Cantonese / Mandarin (to liaise with Cantonese-speaking director)
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma /Degree in Quantity Surveying from a recognized institution.
Possess strong planning, interpersonal, communication, organization and negotiation skill.
Able to read BQ and drawing
Able to work independently.
Min 2 years of working experience, skillful and knowledgeable about QS basic tasks.
Committed to work and willing to work extra time when required
