Quantity Surveyor Executive

Key Responsibilities:

• Cost Estimation: Prepare cost estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and other related expenses.

Budget Management: Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial constraints.

Tender Preparation: Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client.Cost Control: Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure that work is done according to specifications and budget.

• Valuation: Perform risk, value management, and cost control during the project lifecycle.

Compliance: Ensure that all work complies with legal and quality standards and project specifications.

Reporting: Prepare detailed reports, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, and other documentation.Client Liaison: Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

• Qualifications and Skills:

Education: Degree or Masters in Quantity Surveying or relevant certification.

• Experience: Proven experience in quantity surveying, particularly in civil engineering projects.

Technical Skills: Proficient in construction estimating software and tools.

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with attention to detail.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve complex issues and problems effectively.

Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and with diverse groups of people.
